Proper preparation of subsurface materials is important to ensure a long lasting low maintenance patio.

     After the sod is removed, a form is built slightly larger than the size of the completed patio is to be.  The form is then filled with sure pac which is leveled and compressed to provide good drainage and support.

     Once the subsurface is prepared, the patio starts to take shape.  Following a set pattern (in this case the pattern was designed by a Baker's Nurseries designer) and carefully placing each stone being sure each one is level and secure, your patio will become useable in just a matter of hours.
